US Carbon licenses NETL’s coal-to-graphite technology

US Carbon executed a license agreement with the National Energy Technology Laboratory for its coal-to-graphite technology, which is patent pending.

Catalytic graphitization was developed at NETL with Department of Energy funding, beginning in 2017. The license lets US Carbon commercialize that work.
